My husband & I, who are both professional photographers, bought this camera for our 2 year old daughter for Christmas (to stop her going for our expensive SLRs!), and although some of the functions are a bit beyond her because she's not quite old enough to understand, both my husband and I think it's fantastic! Obviously, the quality isn't SLR-standard, but it's great fun, light enough for a child to handle, responsive (no pressing the shutter and waiting for the picture to take), tough, and a great introduction into photography for little ones.
A wonderful camera for a child to use until they're old enough to be trusted with a 'proper' camera.

Absolutely fantastic my daughter will not put this down - when she is not making her own little movies of her baby brother of herself singing she sits looking at all the photos she has taken and watching her movies back. To say she is only 3 the buttons are very clear and she understands what they are for. The navigation buttons through the photos with little wheels is easy to use. The option to take a photo on your own or with the Princess/ess your choice is magical - so many options as standard which is fab. Fantastic all round camera just the thing for any disney princess fan and keeps them entertained for hours. We can sit together and print pictures off for her to put in her bedroom and she has already asked if we can add some to our digital photo frame so she can see her own photos.
