V.Smile Motion Active Learning System (with Thomas & Friends)

I'm the mother of a 10 year old Autistic child, his mental age is of about a 3 - 4 year old and his communication level is around 2 - 3 years. I have to say that I've been extremely impressed with the V.Smile Motion, he's making more of an attempt to communicate by copying the sayings that the characters are saying, his letter/number/colour and shape recognition has improved so much too - with him managing all this it's also given him a massive confidence boost, especially as there's as much positive praising with in the games given to the children for what they've achieved! My only concern was with the positioning of the power button on the handset - He's a tendency of knocking the power off and getting frustrated as it's so close to his fingers while he's playing. For me personally that's genuinely the only thing that I would change. Thank you Vtech for helping my boy's education along with this fantastic product!!

I love this system, my 3 year old thinks it's amazing. It gives him the ability to play games like his dad! :) Also whilst doing this he is continually learning with the brilliant games you get for the system. I also like the fact that you can use the older V smile games on the console as well. We also have the Hand Held V smile pocket which uses the same games, brilliant idea! It keeps my son quiet for hours and I couldn't think of any way of making it better :)

This is a fantastic product - and a must for every child this Christmas! I bought this for my four-year old son and he has enjoyed many hours playing on it! The controller is very easy to use and he enjoyed all the games because they featured his favourite characters! If you want a gift that will keep your child happy not just on Christmas day but into the New Year and beyond, then look no further because you've just found it!

the vsmile has been fantastic from day one, my son has had it for two years now and it is still going strong. it is a great product because it grows with the child, the games have different qualities and the ages vary with the characters that the child loves and relates to. the only bad thing would be the wired controller but the VSMILE MOTION comes with a wireless controller so that issue has been resolved in the newer model. good value for money and all in all a great product for all children :D
