10 A Day Challenge
Learning can be fun, exciting and interactive and here at VTech, the No.1 electronic learning company, we want to ensure that every parent has the knowledge and support to help nurture and embrace each and every learning moment with their child.
Research by VTech reveals that 78% of parents of young children believe new technology – such as computers, mobile phones and iPads – play a positive role in their child’s development. 64% regarded interactive communication as the best way for children aged 3-7 to learn to read, and a study also shows that mums are hungry for electronic learning products that specifically help with their child’s literacy development.
On the back of these findings, VTech is launching Storio - the world’s first animated E-Book Reader for children – and we’re launching the ‘10 a Day challenge’ which encourages parents to read with their children for ten minutes every day.
This page is set up to help parents understand the importance of reading with children for a short space of time every day, to offer advice and guidance on how to make the most of reading-time and introduce lots of hints and tips on how to excite children about learning and literacy.
